Advantages of Solar System
WITH MOST SUNLIGHT CONVERSION EFFICIENCY
Solar system have several advantages. The biggest one being that solar panels produce zero carbon emissions once they have been manufactured. Another great advantage of solar panels is that they have the potential to lower your power bills. On top of this, they can reduce the power grid’s reliance on fossil fuels, and provide remote homes and communities with a degree of energy-independence.

HOW DOES SOLAR SYSTEM WORKS
When the sun shines, it produces photons. When these photons hit solar power panels, silicon components and conductors inside the panels convert the photons into DC electricity. Next, an inverter converts the DC (Direct Current), into 240V AC (Alternating Current) electricity. This conversion process is what makes the power usable for your home.
Government Solar Rebates
Small Scale Renewable Energy Scheme
The Federal Government solar rebate, officially known as the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES), entitles individuals and small businesses in Australia to large reductions when installing eligible small-scale renewable energy systems (under 100kW) such as solar PV systems and solar water heater systems. The rebate amount is determined by the number of small-scale technology certificates (STCs) a solar system is entitled to. The larger the solar system the more STC’s it will receive. Every year on January 1st the amount of STC’s a solar system is granted decreases meaning the rebate decreases. An average residential sized system can currently receive up to $3,700.
